5.17  Compost area to the rear of the site looking unsightly – Deputy Clerk to investigate the cost of clearing the site and erecting another plot for let.  Basil King contacted and will look again during the summer holidays.

7.1  Owners have planted hedge alongside existing fence.  It was noted that the ground level had been raised.  This could mean significant run off of water onto the allotments.  Inspected and concluded that no run off experienced in light of recent downpours.

 

 

 

 

6.

Rules & Regulations

 

6.1

Insert ‘It is best practice not to take your vehicle along the maintrack to the north end of the allotments.  If you do so, you do at your own risk’ at the appropriate point.

Discussion took place; on whether to charge a deposit for new tenants to be held until end of tenancy to cover any clearance of the site prior to re-letting. It was discussed that the equivalent to the yearly rental should be taken.  Appropriate paragraphs to be inserted into the Rules and Regulations.
