A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire: major improvements
We are currently carrying out finishing works for which we need to close lanes or carriageways on the A1, A14 and some local roads at times, usually overnight between 9pm and 6am, unless otherwise stated. A clearly signed diversion route will always be in place for closures.

An amendment to the day closure in Huntingdon, this coming Saturday (6th) from 8am until 5pm.
The closure of B1514 Brampton Road has been extended and will also include George Street westbound and the A1307 eastbound between B1514 Brampton Road and Pathfinder Link.

• B1514 Brampton Road between Scholars Avenue and Edison Bell Way
Vehicles on the Huntingdon town centre side will be diverted onto the ring road, St Peters Road to A141 west to Brampton / Brampton Racecourse junction and into Brampton via B1514.
Vehicles on the Brampton side of the closure will follow this diversion in reverse.

The Transport and Infrastructure Committee of the Combined Authority has today (Wednesday) recommend the authority's board release £6 million for the A141 St Ives road scheme.

We are pleased to confirm that the Local Highways Improvement (LHI) that the Parish Council applied for will begin works next week.
The applied for Zebra Crossing will begin with Balfour Beatty connecting & installing belisha beacons next week, with the remaining road works, including the lining, to be completed the following week.

An update in relation to Buckden Landfill and reports of malodour.
The Environment Agency have noted an increase in reports of malodour during July.
