A resident has alerted CAPASP to a phone call she received from a man purporting to be an "insulation clerk" from "Cambridgeshire County Council".
The man advised that the lady's house had an insulation grant in 1985 and was offering a free survey of the loft the next day to check for mold etc as the insulation used "has fibre glass and is now below quality", saying that a further free grant was available... Read More »

Cambridgeshire Constabulary call handlers can receive as many as 1,900 calls in just one day.
Many of those calls are reports that could have been resolved using online services. This is why the force are encouraging people to only #CallWhenItCounts, which will reserve call handlers' time on the line for the most serious emergencies.

The names of bus operators and new timetables for the services withdrawn by Stagecoach East from October 30 can now be released.
