The Great Ouse Valley Trust is delighted to report that its work to replace all of the information boards along the Ouse Valley Way long-distance footpath through Cambridgeshire is now completed. And this includes a brand-new fifth one at Bromholme Lane, near Brampton Mill, which displays the new design and fresh content shown here.

"It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh," the palace said in a statement.

"His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle. Further announcements will be made in due course. The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss."

IHMC Incident Report March 2021

The IHMC responded to 69 incidents on the road network throughout Cambridgeshire in March, covering 23 weekdays. This is the highest number we have seen since last October and is in fact higher than March last year where restrictions where just coming into place. Please see the table below which illustrates the number of incidents over the last 6 months, compared to the same period last year.

There has been a fantastic response to Census 2021, thank you! Nine out of ten households have completed their questionnaire. Even though Census Day has been and gone, it is not too late for people to fill out their form.

People can give their Census access code to a family member, friend, carer or any trusted person to complete the Census on their behalf.

Twice weekly Covid testing launched to find the one in three people who don't know they have the virus

From Friday, adults in Cambridgeshire are being urged to take a rapid Covid test twice weekly to help find people who are asymptomatic and could be spreading the disease unknowingly.

It is estimated the one in three people in the community have Covid but do not realise as they have no obvious symptoms.
