The Great Fen: Progress on the Peat

The Huntingdonshire Local Group of the Wildlife Trust invite you to our online illustrated talk on Wednesday 8th September at 7.30pm, which will be hosted via Zoom.

Our speaker will be Henry Stanier, who is The Great Fen Ecology and Recording Officer for the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire with responsibility for managing the monitoring of the Great Fen, including training volunteers in ecology monitoring.

Henry has a wide knowledge of natural history, with particular expertise in birds, dragonflies, reptiles, amphibians and mammals, as well as botany.

Tonight Henry will bring us up to date with progress on the management of the Fen and its wildlife and the plans for the future of this wonderful wetland.

Booking is via the Trust's website www.wildlifebcn.org/events then follow the Eventbrite link. Entry charge is free, donations are welcomed.
