Staying Safe Online with BT

Staying Safe Online with BT

British Telecom are offering free online training which will help us all become more alert to scams, and it only takes 10 minutes to complete.

About the 'Staying Safe Online' training

This 10 minute, simple and interactive training, is designed to help you or your friends and family stay safe online.

Based on BT's own employee training, the Staying Safe Online course will help you look out for and spot scammers and their criminal tricks.

Share with your friends and family and don't let the cyber criminal's win.

How it works

1. Click the link to start the training: https://www.bt.com/skillsfortomorrow/home-life/staying-safe-online

It will work on a computer, laptop, tablet, or smart mobile device.

2. Work through the training - it should take about 10 minutes.

If you are helping someone, be there to support and offer guidance, re-assurance and check their understanding.

3. You're done. Congratulations! Don't forget to download your Scammer Aware Certificate, endorse by BT's Managing Director of Security and your 'Top Tips to Online Safety' reference sheet to remind you of your new found knowledge.
